Event Management is basically the application of project management to the creation and development of events such as conferences, formal parties, ceremonies etc.

It is the process of using business management and organizational skills to envision, plan and execute social and business events.

Event management requires working with budgets, schedules and vendors to create the best possible vent for their clients. It involves studying the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning the logistics and coordinating the technical aspects before actually launching the event.
